KKR appoints Veyrat as senior adviser

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) has appointed Jacques Veyrat as senior adviser for its French investment activities.
Veyrat will work with Henry Kravis, Johannes Huth and the wider EMEA leadership team on the development of KKR's platform in France.
The GP highlighted its exits from Legrand, Tarkett and Winoa as evidence of track record in the region, as well as recent growth capital investments in Ivalua and Fotolia.
Veyrat currently manages his own investment company, Impala, which he founded after leaving his role as chair and CEO of Louis Dreyfus Group in 2011. Prior to that, he worked for French telecommunications company Neuf Cegetl.
KKR is currently investing from its $3.7bn Europe-focused buyout vehicle, KKR European Fund IV, which held a final close in December 2015.
