Alpha PE hires Quinn as IR and fundraising director
Pan-European buyout firm Alpha Group has hired Helena Quinn as investor relations and fundraising director.
Quinn announced the news via her LinkedIn profile. She was previously private equity leader at fund services firm SGG, which she joined in early 2016.
Prior to joining SGG, Quinn was a senior business development manager at fund administrator Ipes, where she assisted asset managers in establishing funds and addressing their regulatory concerns in the UK, Cayman Islands, Channel Islands and Luxembourg.
Alpha has €2bn in assets under management and specialises in European mid-market buyouts. The firm most recently held a final close for its seventh fund, Alpha Private Equity Fund 7 (APEF 7), on €903m a year ago, hitting its hard-cap and exceeding its €800m target.
Alpha had launched the fund in March 2016. The amount raised for the vehicle is a significant step up from its predecessor, which raised €700m in 2012. The fund is a Luxembourg-based SICAR structure.
