
Natixis IM buys MV Credit Partners
French asset manager Natixis Investment Managers has acquired European private credit specialist MV Credit Partners.
London-headquartered MV invests in senior and subordinated debt across Europe, targeting less cyclical industries such as IT and healthcare. It has a focus on western Europe, covering the DACH region and the Nordic countries. Since inception, the firm has invested €5bn in around 400 deals. It also has an additional office in Luxembourg.
Following the deal, MV will continue to have full autonomy, with its core management team remaining in place. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Natixis IM has assets under management of approximately €818bn through the 26 fund managers on its platform. Its private equity programme makes both fund and direct investments, according to Unquote Data.
