
Balderton appoints B Capital's Yang as head of IR

VC house Balderton Capital has appointed Jodi Yang as head of investor relations.
In her new role, Yang will work closely with Balderton’s investment team to support the firm’s investor relations and fundraising activities.
Prior to this appointment, Yang was a partner at B Capital Group, a global venture capital firm based in California and created by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. Previously, she was a founding partner at Los Angeles-headquartered Gratia Capital, a spinout of hedge fund Canyon Capital. In addition, Yang is an entrepreneur and co-founder of apparel business Novo Holdings in Shanghai, which was ultimately purchased by KKR.
Balderton Capital is an early-stage venture capital house that invests in European technology companies and manages $2.7bn. The firm’s current portfolio is composed of 85 companies and includes software specialist Aircall, transport app Citymapper and digital wealth manager Nutmeg.
