
TSG launches in London
San Francisco-based private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners has launched its first office outside of the US in London.
European companies that the firm has previously made investments in include Revolution Beauty, BrewDog, Canyon Bicylcles and Huda Beauty.
TSG partner and managing director Colin Welch will head up the new office and will be joined by new recruit Beth Pickens from M&A adviser William Blair. Pickens was managing director and head of European consumer banking at William Blair and joins TSG as principal.
The GP recently closed its eighth fund on $4bn. It deployed one third of the capital from its previous fund outside the US.
