Investcorp adds Townsend to international advisory board
Alternative investment firm Investcorp has added Frances Fragos Townsend to its international advisory board.
Townsend has 25 years of experience in international policy, law and business strategy. She worked as senior vice-president and subsequently executive vice-president of the worldwide government, legal and business affairs divisions of MacAndrews & Forbes from October 2010.
Townsend supported MacAndrews & Forbes' portfolio companies' growth, advising them on business development, legal and compliance issues across the globe.
Previously, she was a corporate partner at international law firm Baker Botts, and before that served as assistant to US president George W Bush for homeland security and counterterrorism, chairing the Homeland Security Council.
Investcorp's international advisory board is chaired by Mohammed Alardhi, executive chair of Investcorp. It meets annually to provide advice and guidance to the firm.
