KKR bolsters global impact team
Investment firm KKR has appointed two senior professionals within its global impact team, as it looks to strengthen its geographic reach and local impact.
KKR has appointed Stanislas de Joussineau to lead the organisation’s global impact team in Europe, and Sharon Yang to serve as senior investor in Asia.
The global impact team focuses on investing in global opportunities where financial performance and societal impact are associated. This includes companies whose core business models offer commercial solutions, which contribute measurable progress toward one or more of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
De Joussineau previously served as director of private equity in KKR. He joined the organisation in 2009 as an associate focusing on private equity. He has also previously worked for JP Morgan.
The organisation previously launched KKR Global Impact Fund, with a $1bn target, and is understood to have surpassed this target as of August 2019.
