Pantheon joins forces with Kermony for France-focused push
Pantheon has struck an exclusive introducer relationship in France with Kermony Capital, which will promote Pantheon's private equity and private debt offering to French investors.
Paris-based Kermony will act in an exclusive capacity to introduce the global private markets firm to French professional and institutional investors. Pantheon's private markets offering covers private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real assets.
The agreement with a France-based firm reflects Pantheon's goal to service regional markets with local specialists, a spokesperson told Unquote.
Kermony is led by Michael Sfez, who has worked with a number of Pantheon professionals previously. Prior to establishing Kermony, Sfez had worked for Russell Investments for 19 years.
The services that Kermony will provide to Pantheon share some similarities with those offered by consultants and placement agents, but the relationship will be permanent rather than project-based, as tends to be the case with such advisers, the spokesperson added.
