
Dentons appoints Orrick's Kessler as partner
Law firm Dentons has appointed Guillaume Kessler as partner to strengthen its corporate, M&A and private equity practices in France.
With this addition, the firm's Pari-based corporate M&A team, led by partner Olivier Genevois, will count 130 lawyers, including 46 partners.
Kessler joined Dentons from Orrick, where he was a partner since 2016. Previously, he was managing partner of Olswang France (now CMS).
Kessler has experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring and international joint ventures. He has advised French and international strategic clients, both listed and unlisted, as well as investment funds, and covers a wide range of sectors.
He recently advised French hotel and restaurant group Groupe Bertrand on several transactions, including the acquisition of Groupe Flo, which owns a portfolio of more than 150 restaurants.
