EQT to acquire Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy - report
EQT Partners is in final-stage talks to buy Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy, an energy service provider owned by Italian engineering firm Robert Bosch, according to Unquote sister publication Mergermarket.
The parties are expected to sign a deal imminently, with no formal auction process in place.
Headquartered in Cinisello Balsamo, near Milan, Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy specialises in integrated energy efficiency solutions and electricity co-generation. The company reported revenues of €45m in 2019.
EQT is a Swedish private equity firm specialising in buyouts, growth financing, mezzanine financing and special situation investments across a wide variety of sectors. The firm is currently investing its EQT VIII fund, which hit its €10.75bn hard-cap at a first and final close in February 2018.
The GP launched EQT IX in January 2020, a new buyout fund with a €14.75bn target and a €15bn hard-cap.
