17Capital hires Chatin as IR and fundraising director
Preferred equity specialist 17Capital has hired Pauline Chatin as investor relations and fundraising director, with immediate effect.
Based in Paris, Chatin will work as part of 17Capital's investor relations team, managing European investors with an emphasis on French-speaking countries including France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
She joins from Lyxor Asset Management, where she was responsible for selling financial solutions to French institutional accounts. Pauline raised the first significant assets for several of Lyxor's new strategies, including a private debt fund for one of the largest French state institutions, according to a statement by 17Capital. Prior to Lyxor, she was a member of the sales team at hedge fund Finaltis and started her career as a broker at Arca Patrimoine.
Her appointment follows that of Martin Munte as IR director in London in June, and Daniel Lee as head of fundraising and investor relations for North America in New York in April. 17Capital's team now counts 52 professionals.
The firm has raised four preferred equity funds to date, with the most recent vehicle closing on its hard-cap of €1.2bn in 2017.
