Ambienta hires four
Ambienta has hired four new professionals to strengthen its French and German offices, and to continue to expand its presence across Europe.
Romain Demeunynck and Timothée Héron will join Ambienta's Paris-based investment team as an investment manager and an associate, respectively.
Prior to joining Ambienta, Demeunynck spent two years with 21 Invest and four years with Bee Up Capital.
Héron will join Ambienta from Activa Capital, a private equity firm focused on the French lower-mid-market, where he spent four years.
Ambienta's Paris office, which was opened in September 2020, is led by partner Gwenaelle Le Ho Daguzan. Ambienta has been an active investor in France, most recently with Nactarome's add-on of Nactis in December 2019, which was made to create a European platform specialised in natural flavours, colours and ingredients for the food industry.
Konstantin Leu and Yannick Balz will join Ambienta's Munich office as an investment manager and an associate, respectively.
Leu previously worked at private equity firms EMH Partners and Partners Group, while Balz will join Ambienta from the Boston Consulting Group, where he spent nearly four years in the corporate finance task force.
Ambienta strengthened its presence in Germany in 2020 with the hire of Hans Haderer as partner for the DACH region, and recently moved its office from Dusseldorf to Munich. In Germany, Ambienta has executed several transactions over the years, including Oskar Nolte, SF Filter, Calucem and Lakesight.
