GHO appoints new director of sustainable investing

GHO Capital Partners, a European healthcare-focused private equity house, has promoted Manuela Rankine to director of sustainable investing.
In this newly created role, she will be responsible for implementing GHO's sustainable investment strategy, reporting directly to the firm's senior leadership.
GHO said it has created the new role in order to further institutionalise its commitment to ESG and continue to drive impact across its portfolio.
Rankine will lead the integration of ESG considerations throughout the GHO investment process, including screening and due diligence, monitoring and value creation, and preparation for exit. She will work with the GHO portfolio to set sustainability targets and drive their delivery. Her remit will also include the measurement and showcasing of the social value delivered by GHO investments.
Rankine previously spent seven years in the investment team at GHO. Prior to GHO, Manuela was part of the healthcare M&A team at Barclays Capital in London.
