CD&R appoints European portfolio procurement director
Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) has announced the appointment of Marta Benedek as European director of the firm’s Portfolio Company Procurement Program.
In her new role, Benedek will focus on optimising the supply chain of CD&R’s portfolio companies, working with supply chain and procurement teams within each company, according to a statement.
Prior to joining CD&R, Benedek spent 20 years with General Electric, most recently as new product launch program manager. She has experience in stablishing low cost suppliers in emerging regions, strategic negotiations, new product launches, and supply chain operations, according to the same statement.
CD&R said in the same statement that the appointment comes at a time when global supply chains and procurement channels are facing "significant challenges".
CD&R is expected to launch Clayton, Dubilier and Rice Fund XII imminently, according to Unquote Data, having registered the vehicle earlier in March 2022 with a USD 20bn target.
