GMT Communications promotes three
GMT Communications Partners has promoted Natalie Tydeman to senior partner, while Vikram Krishna and Francois Stoessel have been named partner and principal, respectively.
Tydeman joined GMT in 2007, after working in the communications industry for 17 years. She was previously at Fremantle Media as senior vice president and was managing director at Fox Kids Europe.
In June 2008, Tydeman worked on GMT's acquisition of online games company Bigpoint, as well as the firm's MBO of seafarer training system Seagull in September 2012.
Vikram Krishna has been promoted to partner, having joined GMT in 2005. Prior to this he was a manager at PwC, where he focused on due diligence and audit assignments for private equity clients.
Krishna now looks after GMT portfolio companies Multicom Security, Primesight and MeetingZone. He also worked on the divestment of PEPcom to Star Capital in 2010.
Francois Stoessel has been promoted to principal, having joined GMT as an associate in 2011. He was previously an associate in the European investment team at KKR, where he focused on the industrial and telecoms sectors. Stoessel also worked in Deutsche Bank's investment banking division.
GMT Communications focuses on investments in the communications infrastructure sector. Since its launch in 1993, it has made 32 investments across Europe.
