
ICG hires two for secondaries team
Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has recruited Justin McDougall and Panos Tegos as associates for its secondaries team.
Both McDougall and Tegos joined the mezzanine house in March.
McDougall's career includes a stint at DuPont Capital Management, where he was a private markets analyst until August 2010. He then joined Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners, where he focused on secondary private equity investments.
Tegos started out as an analyst at Eurobank EFG's office in Athens in 2006. In 2009, he became an associate for Seattle-based Marine View Ventures before joining ADN Capital Ventures in 2010.
At the end of that year, he returned to the European market with Goldman Sachs at as a banking analyst. Tegos focused on leveraged buyouts, MBOs, recapitalisations, refinancings and corporate acquisition financing. In August 2013, he became an investment banking associate at the firm, a position he held until he joined ICG.
Earlier this month, ICG announced its Europe Fund VI had reached its €2.5bn target at first close. ICG, which is committing €500m of its own capital to the fund, is targeting leveraged buyouts, mezzanine and refinancings for European mid-market companies.
