UK - CD & R to sell Brakes
Brakes, the food distributor held by Clayton Dubilier & Rice is to be sold with a sales memorandum anticipated in the next few days.
The move by CD & R follows a £275m refinancing of Brakes in September last year. CD & R acquired Brakes, then known as Brakes Bros, in a £616.4m deal in 2002. In 2005/6, the company had a turnover of £1.6bn.
