UK - Barclays Ventures acquires building contractor
Barclays Ventures has acquired Strategic Team Group, a building contractor to the public and private sector, in a deal valued at approximately ТЃ11m. Barclays Ventures has invested for a minority stake.
Senior debt and working capital to fund the acquisition was provided by Yorkshire Bank. PKF advised Barclays Ventures on the deal.
Based in Castleford, West Yorkshire, Strategic Team Group employs 165 people and forecasts turnover in excess of £32m in the next 12 months.
