FRANCE – 21 Centrale Partners exit Hedis
21 Centrale Partners has exited its stake in hygiene products distributer Hedis in a management buy-back supported by Sofival.
Hedis specialises in the b2b distribution of cleaning and hygiene products via eight subsidiaries, with a focus on the kitchen, clothes, grounds, accommodation and environment sectors. 21 Centrale Partners initially backed an OBO of the company in July 2004 and has supported it through three bolt-on acquisitions over the past four years that have increased geographical coverage by 50%. Hedis, based in Levallois-Perret, generated revenues of EUR 96m in 2007 and hopes to increase this figure to EUR 120m next year.
Sofival is the holding company of the Blas family, which operates ski areas, such as Val D’isere.
