UK - BC Partners boosts London team with two new hires
BC Partners has hired Laura Coquis and Laurent de Rosiere to the firm's London office.
Coquis joins from Atlantic-Pacific Capital and will manage investor relations in her new role. de Rosiere joins from Citigroup and will focus on Europe and the Middle East at BC Partners.
BC raised EUR 5.9bn for its 2005 vehicle, which has already reached the 60% investment threshold, putting the private equity firm on course to raise fresh funds. The 2005 fund's five year investment term expires next November. The recent hires form part of the firm's preparation for the raising.
The private equity firm is also reportedly planning a number of IPOs for its portfolio companies for next year, including French home care company Medica, German distributor Brenntag and German cable operator Unitymedia.
