UK - Ernst & Young appoints Gary Davison to lead new debt advisory business
Ernst & Young has hired Gary Davison to head the launch of its new specialist debt advisory business in Manchester.
Davison was previously a director with private equity firm Endless in Manchester. The new business will focus on medium-sized companies with debt requirements of up to £100m. He will support colleagues throughout the UK and recruit further debt advisory specialists in line with its expansion plans. The debt advisory service will fill a gap in the market between the traditional disciplines of corporate finance and corporate recovery.
Davison, a corporate banker by profession, was a founding director of the Bank of Ireland’s asset-based lending business Enterprise Finance Europe, and was also a director of another of its subsidiaries, Burdale Financial.
