UK - NBGI adds Smollensky's to menu

NBGI Private Equity has acquired Smollensky's Bar & Grill, a chain of steak restaurants, to add to its Kornicis portfolio of restaurants.

Kornicis was created in August 2008 when the Food & Drink Group went into administration and NBGI took over some of its assets. There are now 19 bars and restaurants in the Kornicis Group, including London-based Jamies Wine Bars and Henry J Bean's.
