GERMANY – HANNOVER Finanz back Geti Wilba MBO
HANNOVER Finanz has backed the MBO of frozen foods company Geti Wilba GmbH & Co KG from Nestlé Deutschland AG for an undisclosed sum.
Geti Wilba was founded in 1952 and was acquired by Nestlé when it purchased ice cream manufacturer Schöller in 2001. Geti manufactures frozen poultry and game products as well as frozen prepared meals.The business employs more than 800 people across sites in Bremervörde, Cuxhaven-Altenwalde and Oberreute in Germany, as well as a production facility in Argentina, and generates annual turnover of around EUR 85m.
