Impetus hires investment manager
Venture philanthropy firm Impetus Trust has appointed Alan Morton as an investment manager.
Morton previously worked for Prudential Singapore and Vietnam as director of private equity. Prior to that he worked for London-based GP Silverfleet Capital Partners.
Impetus operates on a venture philanthropy model, providing management support, pro bono expertise and strategic funding to a range of charities and social enterprises.
Morton worked with Impetus portfolio companies Resurgo Trust and Family Links as a pro bono adviser in the past. He will focus on the firm's "reducing reoffending" portfolio.
