
Bencis-backed Quaron to be acquired by Univar
Bencis Capital has agreed to sell its chemical manufacturer Quaron Group to trade player Univar.
Formerly known as Eurochem Holding, Quaron consists of a group of companies producing and distributing industrial chemicals in the Netherlands (formerly known as Epenhuysen Chemie), Belgium (formerly known as Van Eyck Chemie) and Northern France (formerly known as Districhimie). The company sells more than 1,000 different products and it produces and modifies more than 400 chemical products for industrial applications. In addition, the group also exports chemicals to over 30 countries in the world. The distribution covers a wide spectrum of industrial chemicals including acids and lyes, solves and solids.
