LGT closes secondaries fund on €1.2bn
LGT Capital Partners has reached final close for its Crown Global Secondaries II plc fund, on $1.2bn.
The fund was originally hoping to raise $750m, but high demand led it to raise its cap.
Crown Global Secondaries II will look to secondary opportunities globally, and has already completed 20 transactions.
Investors include pension funds, insurance companies and global foundations in Europe, Australia, the US and Asia.
