UK - SVG Capital joins iPEIT
SVG Capital has joined iPEIT, the Initiative for Private Equity Investment Trusts, a group of 10 UK-listed private equity funds. iPEIT was launched in Septmeber 2006 with the goal of raising the profile and increasing the understanding of listed private equity in London. SVG was established in May 1996 following a spin-off from Schroder Ventures and invests primarily in Permira funds. In March 2005, Permira acquired six million shares in SVG, formalising the relationship.
