UK - Somerset CC pension fund issues £30m tender

Somerset County Council pension fund will issue a ТЃ30m tender for a private equity fund-of-funds manager.

The pension fund has chosen to substantially increase its allocation to fund-of-funds from £800,000 because of the diversification benefits on offer. The route allows the fund to access the skills of managers in previously untapped investment areas such as early stage businesses.
