UK - Permira appoints three to the partnership
Permira has announced that JУЖrg RockenhУЄuser, Richard Sanders and Federico Saruggia have been elected to partner. All appointments are effective immediately.
Richard Sanders joined Permira in 1999 and is based in the London office. Richard has worked on a number of recent transactions including Inmarsat and Intelsat. Prior to joining Permira and before completing his MBA, Richard worked for Morgan Stanley in London in the Mergers & Acquisitions and High Yield Capital Markets divisions. Richard has a degree in Classics from Oxford University, an MBA from Stanford Business School, USA and is a Fulbright Scholar.
Federico Saruggia is based in the Milan office and specialises in transaction structuring across sectors. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Cortefiel, DinoSol Supermercados, Marazzi Group and most recently TDC. Prior to joining Permira in 1997, Federico worked for six years at Sanpaolo Finance in Milan, the merchant banking arm of IMI Sanpaolo Group. Federico has a degree in Business Administration and an Advanced Degree in Taxation, both from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy and is a Chartered Accountant.
