EVCA appoints senior public affairs manager

In her new role, Lekston will head up the association's activities on a number of policy issues including Solvency II and the structure of banking, as well as the review of the European System of Financial Supervision and the IORP Directive.

Lekston joins from the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU, where she was first counsellor for financial services between 2009 and 2013. Before that, Lekston spent five years at the Polish Ministry of Finance where she was head of the financial stability unit, in the financial market development department.
