
Lehman mezzanine unit spun-out to Neovara
Lehman Brothers European Mezzanine Partners has been spun-out by its management team.
The mezzanine management team of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc have formed Neovara LLP, which will advise on the €800m Lehman Brothers European Mezzanine Fund.
Neovara was formed by Julian Entwisle, Nathalie Romang, Joris Fletcher, Richard Holden and Jason Howard.
Enwhisle, Romang and Fletcher are managing partners, while Holden and Howard will be partners in Neovara.
As well as managing the Lehman Brothers mezzanine fund, the team intend to build a mezzanine and private credit management business. The firm says there are considerable opportunities for European mezzanine in the coming years.
