Lloyds appoints new acquisition finance director
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has hired Eric Jenkins as a director in its acquisition finance division.
In his new role at Lloyds, Jenkins will be responsible for overseeing large buyouts and refinancings in the private equity market, specifically those with more than €500m in debt. Activities in his new role will also include supporting large transactions funded by the high-yield bonds market.
Jenkins will report to managing director David Whiteley at Lloyds. His new position will also involve working with the loan syndicate and high-yield capital markets divisions at the bank, to support sponsor-led financings in the UK and Europe via high-yield financings and leveraged loans.
Jenkins joins Lloyds following a seven-year stint at Morgan Stanley, where he worked in the leveraged and acquisition finance division in both London and New York. This involved leading the origination and execution of several financings in the US and UK.
Prior to his time at Morgan Stanley, Jenkins worked at Deutsche Bank in both the US and Hong Kong.
