SWEDEN - Norvestor-backed Life acquires Finnish health food chains
Norvestor-backed Life Europe AB, the health and lifestyle retailer, has acquired two of the largest Finnish health food chains Sinunkaupat Oy and Ikivireä-Vital OY. The combined entities will have a 25% market share in Finland with 120 shops and annual turnover of approximately SEK 400m. Following the acquisition, the Life chain will consist of 500 shops: 165 shops in Norway, 220 shops in Sweden and 120 in Finland. The chain’s total turnover is more than SEK 1.6bn at shop level.
