UK - Inflexion portfolio company Parasol appoints new chairman

Inflexion has appointed Ray Pierce as chairman of its employment services company Parasol Group. Pierce has been well known to Inflexion for a number of years most recently in his capacity as Chairman of Crown Sports which Inflexion sold in May 2006. During his tenure at Crown he oversaw a review of the companyт€™s strategy which resulted in a considerable increase in shareholder value and 2x return for Inflexion. He also has substantial financial services and marketing experience from his roles as vice president of consumer marketing and strategic planning at American Express and chairman of Engage Mutual Assurance.
