Deutsche Congress - 14 October, Munich

This year's Deutsche Congress sees some of the industry's biggest names come together to discuss the current state of private equity in the region. They will examine fears over the state of the economy, LP/GP relations and the onslaught of regulation. However, sessions will also look at the opportunities arising as the global economy recovers.

The unquote" British Private Equity Awards - 4 November, London

The entries are in and, with the judges set to meet shortly, the full shortlist for these prestigious awards will soon be announced. Whilst in the past, this recognition of excellence meant innovation and success; we must now also consider resilience in these challenging times. Now, more than ever, it is important to recognise outstanding teams. This year's awards ceremony will take place in the luxurious Northumberland Hotel at Trafalgar Square.

Italia Congress - 11 November 2010, Milan

Following the keynote address by Andrea Montanino, Director General, Department of Treasury, Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, sessions at the unquote" Italia Congress will include panel discussions on how to deal with the upcoming mountain of debt refinancings, the secondaries market and ways to create value from Italy's SMEs. A number of LPs will also consider the lessons to be learned from the financial crisis.
