Herkules buys Norwegian sportswear maker ODLO
Herkules Private Equity has signed an agreement to buy Norwegian sportswear manufacturer, ODLO Sports Group.
No financial details have been disclosed.
Odd Roar Lofterød, the founder's son and current board chairman has also invested in the company, taking minority shares, alongside the management team.
Founded in 1946 in Norway ODLO manufactuers and distributes branded sportswear in Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria. In 1986 it relocated its headquarters to Zug in Switzerland. The company employs a staff of 650 people, and in 2009 saw its turnover reach CHF 160m.
