Advent appoints operating partner for health sector
Advent International has appointed Christian Grenier as operating partner. He will provide advice on investment opportunities in the healthcare and specialty chemical sectors.
Grenier, with 35 years experience in the aforementioned sectors, is currently executive director of BioVision, a global forum on life sciences. He also occupies top executive positions at Laboratoire Delpharm, Urogene SA and Neorphys SAS.
In 2000, Grenier co-founded UroGene, a biotech company that develops medicine for use in the field of urology. Prior to that, he was executive director at chemical and pharmaceutical business Aventis/Rhône-Poulenc where at different times he oversaw the specialty chemicals, animal health and plant health divisions.
