
CVC appoints Daniels to Global Financial Institutions advisory board
CVC Capital Partners has appointed Eric Daniels to its Global Financial Institutions advisory board with immediate effect.
CVC's new senior adviser will be based in the UK.
Daniels was formerly group chief executive of Lloyds Banking Group and group chief executive of Lloyds TSB. He joined Lloyds in 2001 as group executive director, responsible for the retail banking division.
Daniels began his career at Citigroup (then Citibank), where he spent 25 years in a number of managerial positions across a range of businesses and geographies.
In 2010, the global financial institutions group at CVC backed Brit Insurance, an international and general insurance and reinsurance group, which CVC took private in 2010 with Apollo Management.
