Palamon names Rahmatollahi as partner
Palamon Capital Partners has promoted Alexandre Rahmatollahi to partner.
Rahmatollahi joined Palamon in October 2014 as an associate partner. He joined from Morgan Stanley, where he spent eight years in the investment banking division, most recently as an executive director focused on financial sponsor coverage. Prior to that he was engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in its general strategy consulting and private equity practices.
In 2004, Rahmatollahi co-founded OP Capital Partners, a Middle East-focused fund.
Since joining Palamon, Rahmatollahi has been involved in the GP's investments in Italian luxury leather goods producer Il Bistone; UK foreign exchange and payment service business Currencies Direct; and its secondary buyout of UK retailer The Rug Company.
