UK - Augusta makes three senior appointments
Merchant Bank Augusta & Co has made three senior appointments in London to strengthen its debt advisory, restructuring, and renewable energy businesses.
Paolo Pascarelli joins as managing director after 18 years in international investment banking. Until 2008, he was a senior director in the capital markets division of Royal Bank of Scotland. He will work with financial sponsors and corporates across Europe and also develop Augusta's advisory business in Italy. Michael Johnson will also join as a managing director, providing corporate finance advice to private equity houses, corporations and entrepreneurs. Johnson was previously head of BNP Paribas' leveraged finance business in London. James Knight, who joined from the investment banking divison of Goldman Sachs more than five years ago, will work on M&A, restructuring, corporate finance and renewable energy assignments.
