
Grewal joins Apax's IR team
Gagan Grewal has been appointed head of client services in Apax Partners’ investor relations team.
Grewal joins from Europa Capital, where she was head of business development from 2011 onwards. In this role she was responsible for marketing and developing private equity real estate investment initiatives.
Grewal previously spent six years with MGPA, where she was head of business development for Europe. Prior to that she was an associate at Apollo Real Estate Advisors.
Grewal started her career within the real estate tax advisory group at Arthur Andersen and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.
Apax is expected to raise its Apax IX Fund early next year. The GP closed its last fund – Apax VIII – on $7.5bn (€5.8bn) in June 2013. According to unquote" data, the fund was launched in May 2011 and reached a first close in March 2012 on €4.3bn.
