BeCapital CEO to join Capstone's Asia team
Placement agent Capstone Partners is expanding its coverage of the Asian market by hiring two senior professionals, including former CEO of Luxembourg-based cleantech GP BeCapital Alexandre Schmitz.
Schmitz will head Capstone's new Singapore office. He is joining Capstone from Cobepa Group, where he spent 13 years. He held various roles there, including investment director at PAI partners, member of Cobepa's executive committee and most recently CEO of BeCapital.
Capstone has also hired Teena Jilka, coming over from JP Morgan's Alternative Investment Group. She will head fundraising and origination in India. Prior to her appointment, Jilka was responsible for marketing private equity, real estate and hedge funds to high-net-worth individuals across EMEA.
