Quilvest PE hires Maupu as senior adviser
Quilvest Private Equity has appointed Michel Maupu, a former 3i operating partner, as senior adviser.
Maupu will work in the firm's Paris and London offices – he will, however, work with Quilvest's portfolio on a global level. He will advise the investment teams on both current and future investments.
Most recently, Maupu worked as an independent adviser. Prior to that, he worked as senior adviser and operating partner at 3i between 2007-2012, based in the firm's London office.
Before joining 3i, Maupu held roles in the corporate space. He started his career at the Rhône-Poulenc Group – he was notably president and CEO of the agrochemicals division for three years and vice president of the fibres and polymers division for five years. Following his stint at Rhône-Poulenc, Muapu joined Atys, then part of the Pernod Ricard group. He was involved in the management buyout of the business by Butler in 2001, as well as the subsequent trade sale to Agrana in 2007.
Maupu's areas of expertise include the agri-food, chemicals, equipment and consumer goods sectors.
