
UK - Endless acquires Bernstein Group
Endless has acquired the Bernstein Group Holdings, a UK kitchen manufacturer which has a turnover of £27m. Despite the growth in its core kitchen business, supplying house builders, national distributors and social housing. Administrators were appointed to Bernstein in November 2006 after the losses incurred by its direct-sell subsidiary business, The Kitchen Studio, became unsustainable. The subsequent acquisition by Endless has been completed following a company voluntary arrangement backed by the company’s suppliers and creditors, which has allowed the business to be financially restructured and provided new funding to drive future growth.
