FRANCE - BNP Paribas makes two new appointments

Caron, a graduate of IEP Paris and ESSEC, will join the company as head of the fund-of-funds team and will sit on the management board. He will be in charge of implementing the fund of funds strategy, mandates and fund selction. Caron has worked in Private Equity for 12 years, having worked previously at Crédit National, Crédit du Nord and Crédit Agricole Asset Management, a company he co-founded in 1999.

Rivet-Fusil joins as CIO of the fund-of-funds business. He will be co-ordinating the funds investment strategy as well as defining and implementing a selection and investment process in accordance with international best practice. He graduated from ENSIA and holds a masters degree from HEC. He has worked in private equity for 11 years and has served periods with CAAM CI, Banexi Participations, Banexi Ventures Partners and Access Capital Partners.
