Advent hires operating partner
Advent International has appointed Christopher Fraser to its operating partner programme.
Fraser will advise on industrial opportunities, with a particular focus on chemicals and materials. Typical activities might include identifying investment targets, carrying out due diligence and managing Advent's portfolio companies.
Previously president and CEO of inorganic chemicals producer Chemical Lime, Fraser has also worked as president and CEO of carbonates manufacturer OCI Chemical, as well as undertaking various roles at French chemical and pharmaceutical company Rhone-Poulenc and Stauffer Chemical.
He has sat on the boards of KMG Chemicals, OCI Company and ANSAC.
Stephen Hoffmeister, managing director of Advent's Industrials group, said: "Chris's outstanding track record in the broader chemicals industry, and particularly in inorganic materials and industrial minerals, makes him a great addition to our chemicals team."
