SWEDEN - Doughthy Hanson appoints head of Nordic team

Based in Stockholm, Tägt will head the Nordic team and help develop the firm's investment strategy in the region as well as originate and lead transactions in these markets. Prior to joining Doughty Hanson, Tägt was senior director of Hypo Real Estate Bank International AG's structured finance and investment banking division. He also has experience as head of Enskilda Property Funds at Enskilda Securities; CEO of Regnbågen Öster, a subsidiary of the Swedish property group Regnbågen; and from NCC, the publicly listed construction company.

Doughty Hanson is currently investing its second fund, which closed on EUR 590m in 2006 and is now 60% invested. Its investment focus includes real estate developments in UK, Italy, France, Spain, DACH and the Nordic region.
