Bank of Ireland hires two for acquisition finance team
Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking has appointed two bankers to join its expanding UK acquisition finance team as it predicts an increase in activity within the UK leveraged finance sector this year.
Charles joins from Rothschild’s European leveraged finance team and Ross van Poortvliet joined from Sainsbury’s Bank.

The UK acquisition finance team focusses on the UK leverage finance mid-market. The team has recently provided debt finance for the Legal & General Ventures backed buyout of Vernacare, ECI acquisition of Taylor Continental and the Gresham backed buyout of Olaer.
