BNY Mellon appoints new head of PE fund services
BNY Mellon has promoted Alan Flanagan to the new role of global head of private equity and real estate (PE&RE) fund services.
PE&RE fund services will be a new unit at BNY Mellon, accounting for $100bn in assets under administration and employing 150 staff across the globe.
Flanagan joined the bank in 2007, initially as managing director for private equity fund services. He has held different roles in the following years, including European head of integration and, most recently, global head of product management in the alternative investment services division.
Prior to joining BNY, Flanagan held roles at UBS, CIBC and KPMG. He will continue to be based in Dublin in his new role at BNY Mellon.
