Apex Fund Services opens Guernsey office
Apex Fund Services has announced the opening of a new office in Guernsey to leverage on concentrated industry expertise in the jurisdiction.
The fund managers benefitting from the new office will be Apex's clients in Latin America, the Middle East and Asian emerging markets. In addition to the new office, Apex has also launched its open-ended Protected Cell Company (PCC) platform which, it claims, enables fund managers to launch new funds quickly and cost effectively.
Apex Guernsey is located in St Peter Port and will be managed by Stephen Cuddihee.
The fund services provider claims the value of funds under management and administration market in Guernsey at the end of June 2012 stood at £270.1bn, of which £126bn was closed-ended funds with private equity claiming a 41% share.
Apex Guernsey will provide fund set up, portfolio valuations, fund accounting, shareholder services, corporate secretarial services, directorships and listing sponsorship.
